To manually authorize Thin clients

This method is more secured and initially requires more user intervention. But once the device is authorized, this history is maintained until the client profile is removed or the device is reprovisioned.

1.  The server must be licensed.

2.  The sever must also be authorized for volume of Thin Clients that are going to connect to the server.

3. The server’s Environment Properties > Restricted Online Access setting must be unchecked.

When a user tries to connect, he/she will receive a message telling them their device is waiting for authorization to connect.

The Device Authorization Window will show the two columns “Online Access” and “Offline Authorization.”

The administrator must check the box corresponding to the device ID and then the user will need to attempt a connection again so the server can then authorize it.
